Saturday August 1st was the first annual Pennsylvania Crossbow Festival held in Sandy Lake, Pa. in the northwest part of the state.
Many crossbow manufacturers where there with their latest equipment along with several vendors as well. A 30 target 3D course was also available for those wanted to shoot a round. We also gave away a Ten Point crossbow, Stealth Cam, Hunters Safety System vest and many other prizes.
The crossbow reps were busy with all of the kids wanting to shoot at the 3D deer and targets. They could not get enough. A longtime vertical archer with no interest in picking up a crossbow brought his grandson to shoot some of the crossbows. I can see one in this kids future real soon. That was great to see.
We plan to move this event around the state every year so it is more convienent for those that want to attend. Here are some pictures from the festival.
