My first evening in my stand and I passed on a 7 point and a nice 8 point which I was at full draw on but just couldn't touch the release.

There are several nicer bucks in the area and these two sometimes have a bigger one in tow.  Just not last night.

Also saw 5 does and 11 turkeys.  A good first night.

Have seen those two bucks again on several occasions and plenty of does.  The big ones are hiding pretty well thus far.  Hopefully the cooler weather will changes some things.  Crawled up in my stand Tuesday and to my amazement saw two does that were bedded thirty yards from me.  I don't know how I got in my stand without them seeing me??  They were in a blowdown though and the wind was brisk.

Anyway it has been pretty good so far but no arrows loosed.
