I was out yesterday hunting in WMU4 C near the Fort Indian Town Gap, MAN WAS IT WINDY and Cold I really didnt dress properly not enough layers. Any how I saw a nice young 4 point around 1:30 and again another buck that snuck up behind me around 3:30.

You know you sit in a spot for 10 hours or so and everything just seems to look and hear the same except for the little chipmunks and their barking and the curious squirrels. Then they (the deer ) just seem to appear!! Its like GOD or a super natiral happening occurs nad place them about 50 yds or so to tease you and get your blood pumping. Since I had my muzzleloader and not a bow I let the boys past

I have been asked how you can sit in the woods all day and my answer usually is I would rather be in the woods than in the house in front of a boob tube!

There also seems to be more growth on the ground of young trees and ferns i am seeing the good results of our deer management at work.

Will be hunting this week hope to keep you posted. Penn I was think about you yesterday I too am on blood pressure medicine  images/icones/icon10.gif

I made it out Sat for squirrels, and the weather was about the same up in Erie.  I actually saw 4 deer, but only one squirrel.    dd
