I was looking for an area to hunt bear this year that has a good amount of white oak and chestnut oak acorns. Well I found the acorns, alot of bear scat, and the best part is I walked up on a bear that wasn't more than 60 yards from me that had no idea I was there. I will be hunting this area the 19th.

Anyone else hunting bear? No, not naked, Penn.

I'd like to give it a try eventually, but it probably won't be this year.  dd
