I unloaded my flintlock at quitting time on a target only to look down my hill and see a legal buck standing thirty yards away. just my luck

Ouch!!!!

We did a few pushes and my buddy missed a doe.  I ended the last day with about 8 deer seen including one legal buck and no shots fired for me.

Started the day taking a Bobcat out of a trap.  See the pic in the Other Hunting Topics forum...
