Granted, it does seem a bit ridiculous , but I understand his point. Before the concurrent seasons, you would see does all buck season long. They did not become invisible till about noon on the first day of doe season. Now they start hiding when the shooting starts. Doesn't meen they aren't there,it just means your'e not seeing them. dd |

Are we thinking that when we shoot at bucks only -- the does will know that we aren't shooting at them and they'll be romping about? Nah, I think they mean that we ain't killing them, so they'll be chased for 5 days from one end of the woods to the other -- lots of exposure. |

I agree with Bowbum.... The idea is that they will be pushed harder during that second week and that somehow that will make harvesting them easier for those that only want to shoot a buck during week #1.... Remember most of those complaining are looking for one thing only..... MAKE hunting deer EASIER FOR ME... I have not met this guy so really can't tell where he is coming from or what his TRUE aganda is.. but with those remarks it does not look good for him in MY OPINION.. --Last edited by Dr Trout on 2008-02-07 15:14:19 -- |
