Will be interesting to see how fast some units sell out with all the county treasures issuing tags this year for all units.  I know some that want tags for 2F sending to treasurers in the SRA because historically, these units have been slow to sell licenses as there are always some left.  Those treasurers might not have too much volumne, but many could be thinking the same thing and deluge them with applications?

2G and F will be the ones to watch?  It is like a lottery in many ways, depends on when a treasurer gets their mail and begins the process.

I agree it will be interesting to see what happens.. it will be a shame if folks who have always received tags don't just because others have sent to smaller counties with less volume.. many think there will be NO problems simply because the number of tags available is still the same..  i.e. if there are 10,000 and 10,00 have always been sold it will still be the same.. remember it is not often they sell out on the first day anyhow...

I'm just happy I got a DMAP so I know we'll have venision again this year no matter what happens in the "daw"

I never even thought of sending to the SRA counties.  that might have been a good idea.  I sent to Erie hoping they might have more manpower working on them.  Who knows?
Doc, I was amazed at how easy the Dmap is now.  First time I ever tried for one.  My kid waited too long(last Fri) and Clear Creek was already sold out.  dd

yeah it's pretty simple now and you know right away if you get one or not...

maybe they should do all the doe tags on line and get rid of the county treasurer..

but that would take legislative change.
