It is a good place right around lunch time. The hunters that are on there way back for lunch often kick deer back to there truck on the way. I know guys that get deer year in and year out this way. I Just can't bring myself to do it. | |||

Over the years I have found many deer like to hit the parking lots at first light too... especially around here at SGL#54 parking lots... I think they want to check out any food etc that "parkers" and "partiers" have left during the night . I have often seen others like UPS, mailman, loggers, etc taking their lunch breaks in the parking lots, maybe they leave some tid-bits behind too .. --Last edited by Dr Trout on 2009-09-25 09:30:43 -- |

speaking of # 54 I have a question for you. Up at the old game school the PGC has a work building in the middle of the food plots. Is there a safety zone there when hunting small game? I've always felt odd hunting that close to the building, but have seen many others hunting there. dd |
