Isn't it time to scrap the radiculous $21 tag that few buy in favor of a general turkey stamp for say $10 or so.  It could be good for 3 birds but no more than 2 in either spring or fall season.

It seems that the PGC would get more revenue from a tag that everybody had to have but was more affordable than the current $21.  I know few people that actually buy the additional tag now.

300,000 turkey hunters at $10 a pop is 3,000,000 bucks.  As opposed to the 250,000 dollars or so generated by the current tag.

That idea makes more sense to me too

Not that it doesn't make sense from a money point of view, I think they are trying to stay away from a different tag for every type of hunting.  Such as pheasant tag, turkey tag, rabbit tag....etc.  dd
