My son picked me up early and we headed to a gamelands in Cambria County. We split up and at 5:55 I heard my first gobble, before long two others joined in and gobbled until 6:45. Heard one other one about 8:00. My son heard two of the ones I heard plus one I didn't. I hope there this vocal next saturday.

Did not see any other vehicles or hear any shots from youth hunters.

Are you really old enough to remember when there were huntable numbers of deer on the gamelands.

We had several youngsters come into the store on Saturday with successful hunt stories.

They were really thrilled to tell their stories and one little girl was SO PROUD of the turkey feather her cousion had given her from his harvest.

Heard of a couple really nice gobblers taken
