Hunting American Cockers, AKC Registered.

Sire - Palmers Rowdy Ranger, Junior Hunter and Senior Hunter AKC Titles

Dam - Frisky Freckles XXIII

Both dogs are "old fashioned" hunting style, red &white American Cockers, Heavier boned than show stock and larger heads for bird work. Although there isn't really an acknowledged separate field line from the bench lines as in English Springer's, these dogs are distinctly different from most of the American Cockers bred for show confirmation.

Ranger is hunted extensively and was featured in "Spaniels in the Field" magazine in Spring of 2006 and in Gun Dog Magazine in August 2002 Flush Column. He entered AKC hunt tests at 9 months, earning his Junior Title at 14 months, and his senior Title at 21 months. He has also placed in tournament hunt events against an open field of breeds and grouse trials against other flushing breeds. Tested OFA good for hips, CERF normal for eyes, and thyroid functional normal.

Freckles is a personal pet with a great temperament and shows all the natural ability for field work. She loves running the fields, and swimming in any water she can find, strong natural retrieving drive as well. Two previous proven litters with no health problems.

Nine puppies in the litter, 5 female and 4 male, born September 11th, Patriots Day, appear to be all red and white's at this age. Pups will be ready to go to homes, preferably hunting homes around Halloween. Price is $550.00, includes an option for initial field training at a significantly reduced rate ( basically cost of birds). Deposit required.
