This coyote was shot in buck season by Walter Schucker of Clearfield on Dec.
3, 1946, in Goshen Township, Clearfield County. It weighed 42 pounds. He was a member of the New Birch Spring Camp. The photo also appeared in Jan. 1947 issue of PA Game News.

I can't figure out how the truck-load of Western Coyotes broke down in Breezewood.. ??

Not sure the turnpike was build way back then ????
