The Pennsylvania Game Commission is in serious need of a license increase.

They are probably 2 years away from going belly up, in a sense.

Many programs have already been cut.

WCO positions have gone unfilled.

Our SGL's suffer from a lack of fully staffed Food and Cover Crews.

Your IMMEDIATE assistance is needed to help our sportsman's organizations get this needed increase.

Just filled out the license increase petition.  I moved back to Pa. from Oklahoma in '03'.  The cost of a general license was $20 which gave you only small game.  We were allowed 6 deer (no more than 2 antlered) and the tag prices were $20 each, we were allowed one fall turkey @ $10 tag, and up to 3 Spring turkey @ $10 tag.  I purchased my life time hunting license which exonerated me from purchasing these tags, but the cost of this license is expensive.  If a person didn't have a life time license you can see if they were to take advantage of all the game available to them the total cost would be nearing $200.00.  So in reality we have it pretty good here in PA as far as license fees are concerned.

Let's see. 4 saturdays to hunt turkey. 2 saturdays to hunt deer. I'm with Penn on this one  SCEW THEM

I wonder how many Saturdays other states allow their hunters to hunt those two species and for what  price of their licenses  ????

Also the two Saturdays for deer ONLY applies to rifle season for those that DO NOT WANT to hunt them(deer) at any other time...

remember there is the early muzzy season... late muzzy season... early antlerless for seniors and juniors and of course archery season..
