I know I still enjoy squirrel hunting.  The fox squirrels I hunt now, are much different than the grays I grew up with.  dd

How many do you want?  We are polluted with them down here -  They have succeeded in chasing all of the greys out of our woods.

Interesting, I was aware that those nasty little red squirrels would do that I did not know that about the fox squirrels...

I got one the other day that was a mixed breed. Grey and fox. It is common around here to get mixed breed squirrels.

Don't think I won't quit my job to go hunting cause I've done it twice and will do it again!

All i see around Clarion are Fox squirrels.  Now around Brookville and up to Clear Creek area all i ever see is Greys.  It seem more western and southern PA have a lot more fox.

I think we are 100 % fox squirrels in Erie Co.  Doc, when you come to Erie for some lake run rainbows
you can make a sidetrip for fox squirrels.  dd

Find the fields and the crops and you will find the foxes.  Quite fun passing time in rifle season watching them run out of the den trees, pick up ears of corn out of the field, and run them back into the woods.

Now get back in "the woods", and there are still some greys there.
