seems like the first day was very slow. I heard the water was too cold on the streams I was at. After a few days the fish were more active. The stocked trout seemed much larger.  also almost every small stream I tried had  a good supply of healthy native brook trout.

Bob,  Have you been to #44 yet.  The stream by the rifle range has been productive for me.   dd

rich, I mainly stay near the Jefferson Clarion county line and the streams around that area. i took my boss and his two sons last Saturday. his boys caught and released seventeen trout. bob
