Hey guys.  I haven't posted anything yet this season so I have a little bit of catching up to do.  I didn't realize the new board was up yet until tonight.

Anyway, I've been out five times thus far.  I've caught 13,18,26,15,and 16.  I caught five of my fish at Sandy Lick and three at Rattlesnake Run on the first day but other than that all of my fish have come from Toby Creek.  Salted minnows produced the best for me on the first day.  Since then Powerbait nuggets have worked best followed by waxworms.  Until this last trip most of the fish I've caught have been Rainbows.  On my last trip I caught mostly Brookies.  The Browns haven't really started hitting yet at Toby.  Maybe with the weather warming up they'll start to bite better.  I'm going to Sandy on Friday and Driftwood on Sunday.  Toby has been good but I'm ready to try a few other places.

Other than decent numbers I've had some good highlights to the season already.  On the first day I caught two big Browns at Toby.  The first was 19.5 inches and the second was 20 inches.  I've never caught two that big in one day before.  I let both of those go.  On my fourth trip I believe it was I caught all four main species plus a Tiger Trout.  I've never done that before.  On my last trip I caught an 18 inch Brookie.  That is the only fish I kept so far this year.  I'm getting that one mounted since it is my biggest Brookie that I've ever caught.

Well, that's all for now.  Now that I have the new website bookmarked I'll be posting more often.  Later.

Here's another one of the Brookie.  This one better shows just how fat the fish was.
