I took a day off work today and fished Sandy Lick with my friend Jay and my cousin Scott.  We started below the Humphrey Bridge.  It was pretty slow going.  I caught four there and lost a couple.  There was a good hatch of something but I don't know my flies.  Not many trout were jumping for them.

Our second stop was below where Five Mile Run empties in.  I caught twelve there.  I caught five by an old bridge pillar and seven more up in the riffle.

Third stop was the big hole below the Iowa Bridge.  I caught eleven there.  Scott caught quite a few there as well.

Last stop was below the Odonnell Bridge.  None of us caught any there but it was mid afternoon by then.  I saw a really big Palamino but it was not interested.

So, I ended up with 27 for the day.  Scott caught 14.  I'm not sure how many Jay caught.  Most of the fish were caught on Powerbait and the vast majority of them were Rainbows.
