Me, my friend Jay, and my cousin Scott were going to fish the Clarion River today.  We drove up to Ridgway only to find that the river looked like chocolate milk.  Apparently they must have gotten alot more rain than we did.  The streamflow chart on the river at Cooksburg hadn't come up very much so I was rather surprised.

Anyway, we left there and headed back towards Brockway to fish Toby.  I got a tip on an area that had been recently stocked by the Toby hatchery so we checked it out.  There were four of us fishing and together I believe we caught 32 trout so it was well worth the stop.

After we left there we tried the McDonald's Hole and the riffles down below.  By now there were three of us fishing and between the three of us I think we only caught nine.  It was only noon but the trout weren't biting and it was getting warm so we quit.
