Anybody doing any trout fishing out there?  If so, how have you been doing?  I had a great day at Toby last Tuesday.  Then Friday I went up to Driftwood.  I only caught nine up there.  Nobody else seemed to be having much luck either.  I did have a big Brown chase my bait a couple of times but couldn't get him to hit.  I may head out after work either tonight or Thursday night and plan on fishing in the big trout derby at Heath Station on Saturday.  That'll be a zoo I'm sure.

I have been out nothing big but catching trout mostly on Redbank and SandyLick.  They really seemed to cut back on the stocking this year.  A lot less trout in the streams.

Good luck finding a spot down there.  It will be nuts.  Fishing gets better down there in a few weeks anyways.

Around here, fishing stinks.  Fish numbers are way down, catch and release is non-existant (I think because of the economy), and weather has been lousy.  I keep a pretty accurate journal, and this is my worst year since i started keeping it in 1995.  I usually look forward to this time of year for catching fish, but not this year.

I went back up to Driftwood after work tonight to try and catch the big Brown that chased my bait on Friday.  No luck on that front.  I did catch seven though.  The creek is up quite a bit since Friday.
