Fished the Clarion today and had a really good day.  I caught 14 trout and 2 Walleye.  I caught my two largest trout so far this year, a 19 inch Palomino and an 18 inch Brown.  You can click on the link to by blog below for more details.

they claim walleye fry was dropped stock
by plane in the clarion river , true or
not i don't know but quite a few local
town people say it's true.
 anyhow great to see walleye caught.

After yesterday's good day I decided to give the river another try.  I went back to the same place as yesterday but unfortunately caught nothing this time.  I drove up to Portland Mills and did much better though.  I caught 12 there including a 17 inch Brown and a Tiger trout.  I ended the day up in Ridgway and caught two there.

I fished with a (fish for free)  friend after work.. 2 trout, 1 rock bass and 1 lost big sucker....... I watched more that fished... so will not appear in journal.. 2.5 hours  of fishing.
