Posted 11/07/2009 06:28:03 PM | | I went out for a couple hours on Friday and it was eventful. First spot is just south of the town of Brookville I fished there for 45 minutes tops. I caught 3 trout and saw a lot of fish at this spot. The highlight of the day was seeing a coyote cross a small tributary when I was leaving. It was only about 50 to 70 yards away and never noticed I was there. I estimate it was about a 25 to 30 pound coyote. They are a neat animal.
Next I went over to Humphries Bridge and fished for about an hour I only caught one 10" brown trout there. That hole is getting hammered there is one guy i run into there a lot that fly fishes and always keeps 3 to 5 trout. He says how there are not many fish there every time. I really just want to say yeah you killed them all but i keep my mouth shut and play nice. It is sad if he threw them back the fishing would be a lot better.
