I went out for a couple  hours on Friday and it was eventful.  First spot is just south of the town of Brookville I fished there for 45 minutes tops.  I caught 3 trout and saw a lot of fish at this spot.  The highlight of the day was seeing a coyote cross a small tributary when I was leaving. It was only about 50 to 70 yards away and never noticed I was there.  I estimate it was about a 25 to 30 pound coyote.  They are a neat animal.
Next I went over to Humphries Bridge and fished for about an hour I only caught one 10" brown trout there.  That hole is getting hammered there is one guy i run into there a lot that fly fishes and always keeps 3 to 5 trout.  He says how there are not many fish there every time.  I really just want to say yeah you killed them all but i keep my mouth shut and play nice.  It is sad if he threw them back the fishing would be a lot better.

Fish On!!!

I fished the hole on Redbank starting early this morning.  Caught five there and had a couple other bites.  I was going to fish the North Fork spillway but there was a guy there.  After that I was going to try Humphrey Bridge but there were two guys there.  So, I swung around and tried Five Mile.  I caught eight there.  Before heading home I went back around and fished the North Fork spillway and Humphrey Bridge but didn't catch any at either.  Not a bad day but I'm done with Sandy and Redbank until spring.
