Not a bad day Doc.  That's a nice looking Brown.  I'd love to know what snapped your line.  I had that happen to me earlier this summer up at Kinzua and I'm still wondering about it.  I'll be fishing the Clarion tomorrow.  I was going to go to Kinzua but changed my mind.

water was not to bad down there...  a little cloudy but still fishable...

used whole and halves of crawlers.... nothing on spinners at all.. could not get the spinners down near the bottom without a ton of weight and that just messed up the action of the spinners.

missed several on crawlers too.. the water was really fast and deep there.. hard to stay on the bottom with out getting tugs from rocks..

the Brown was just short of 17 inchs but FAT...  he stole three 1/2s before I finally hooked him.. as I was removing the hook my other crawlers came up into his mouth LOL..

not too many snags which REALLY surprised me...

I talked to some guys on the way out and they said they have hooked some REALLY HUGE carp in that area...  may have been one of those ??? was one long steady pull and then snap when I stopped it...

I plan on hitting my usual stomping grounds around Heath Station.  I'll let you know how I do.
