looks like you had a great day. I got a three day weekend coming up. My boats been at the cabin four three weeks. wanted to use it last sunday be the weather screwed the river and the creeks. I will be in the deep water friday no matter what

good luck fishing.. I hope the weather holds for you !!!

Trout fishing has really been slow...
most of the streams were  warm and the trout seem to have moved to cooler locations..

now with all the rain the streams are high and fast and fishing is still tough..

I've been told before that a lot of trout head up the river when the water warms.  This makes sense to me because the East Branch is much colder than the main river.  Unfortunately the East Branch meets the west in stinky, ugly Johnsonburg and the river falls under catch and release regulations between Johnsonburg and Ridgway and access is limited.
