Went out fishing on the Clarion in the C&R area with my brother who was up for the weekend to hunt turkeys and fish.  The fishing was slow we only got 2 trout each.  I was using nymphs and my brother stuck with crawlers.  I Did manage to catch this nice rainbow that I am guessing to be about 26".  I caught him on a big golden stome fly nymph.  My own pattern I came up with over the winter.  I would say it works!

Gorgeous bow!  I'd gladly put him on my wall.  Of course he's in the catch and release area so no danger of that.  Who cares if you only caught two fish when one of them was that big.  I'd rather catch one big one than a whole bunch of little uns.

It is between Johnsonburg and Ridgway.  The last thing I need is a mount to collect dust I prefer pictures our mounts to each there own I guess.

I like pictures and mounts myself.  I let all of the smaller ones go and even most of the big ones so I don't feel guilty.  I only get mounts if they're bigger than the ones I already have mounted for each species.

My problem is if i have money to afford a mount I usually talk myself into new fishing equiment or fly tying supplies.  There are a few fish I thought about mounting but I end up talking myself out of it.  If I catch a 10 pound Brown then I may get one mounted.
