I am venturing into growing and maintaining a good supply of worms in my own worm bed. I plan on using a styrofoam square container with a bottom screen to collect their waste.Food supply will be ground leaves, vegatible greens, and bedding.

Anyone ever do this?? any suggestions, or am I spinning my wheels.

Try googling "red worms" you will find a wealth of information there. My dad had a retail/wholesale bait business in Indiana when I was a kid. We raised red worms by the tens of thousands. The most important thing that I can remember is that you need to maintain adequate soil moisture. To wet they drown, to dry they will not reproduce.

Be part of the solution and not the problem!!
