fished near cook forest in the evening with live crayfish. caught 10 smallmouth 3 channel cats(2 of them were about 28") and 1 rockbass. had a largemouth basso, but it jumped and tossed the hook.

Thats great. We found the same thing out last saturday about the big cats.

I was wondering if you caught your crayish or bought them? I know there is plenty in the small streams but they are always hard.

i caught them myself in a small stream using a minnow net. just turn up a bunch of rocks.  i was able to catch 20 inless than a hour
