This is the biggest fish I have caught. My buddy and I went to shenango lake one evening. We were going to drift for walleye. Well about 930 the rechargeable lantern we brought went dead then I found out the flashlight I brought was dead. Now that didn't bother us much cause we are out there without lights a lot. Well I had just rigged up a new worm harness (lots of snags in there). Dropped it down to the bottom, and thought I had another snag. Then it started moving. At first I thought I had a log coming up. That didn't last long when I had it about 10feet from the bottom it decided to go back down. Then it would come back up and pull the boat around(14 footer). After a half hour of this I had it tired out enough to it bring to the surface. Now this is the part where the no light makes this interesting. My buddy says look at that thing it's not going to fit in the net, a little net for crappie. He goes your going to have to grab it and pull it in, I say ARE YOU CRAZY I"M NOT PUTTING MY HAND IN IT"S MOUTH. I left a few choice words out of that conversation. We had an old gaff in the boat that we use to pick up decoys that had the point ground off. So I used that to pull it into the boat.
Brought it home kept it in my mini tank over night took some pics the next day and took it back to the lake and released it.
