4-3 to roll back full inclusion.  Schlemmer, Isabella and Putnam opposed.

This is preliminary.  I guess Martone will have this laid in his lap if he is confirmed by the Senate.

What a mess when a plan was in place to see this true with the sunset to reassess.

not quite... you can use a crossbow for JUST the first two weeks...

It again proves that now politics and politicans will run the PGC...

The Pennsylvania Bulletin is the Commonwealth’s official gazette for information and rulemaking by various branches of government and state agencies, including the Pennsylvania Game Commission. Under the Commonwealth's Documents Law, any proposed change in regulations must be given preliminary approval by the Board of Game Commissioners at a public meeting. Following its preliminary approval, the proposed rule-making must be reviewed by the state Office of Attorney General and published in the Pennsylvania Bulletin to allow for public comment. After considering public comment, the Board is permitted to take final action on the proposal at a subsequent public meeting, after which it must again be reviewed by the Office of Attorney General and published in the Pennsylvania Bulletin before taking effect.

Its a bunch of bull!  Our state is run by a punch of out of touch idiots.  So the guy who can only hunt weekends get 2 chances in the woods.  Not only that those are also the warmer weekends and who wants to mess with a doe then.  

This is preliminary all.  It would need final approval at the next BOC in October.  Then it needs entered in the bulletin which usually takes about 30 days after passage.  So we are looking at mid November or later at the earliest to become regulation.

The regualtions passed in January which is for full inclusion currently stand.

Of course there is always a possibility of a special session or notational vote to speed that process up but all indications are that will not happen.

If you support the crossbow, it is imperative that the senate confirm nominee Martone to fill commissioner Hill's vacant seat.  His vote will be the deciding one.  Once he is seated, please conact him and show your support for crossbow inclusion as approved at the January meeting.

Its just BS there are a lot of guys that went out and already dropped a lot of money on Crossbows and now they might not get much chance of using them nexy year or even this year.  I have heard both sides of the argument but really you still have to know how to hunt the deer no matter how you look at it.
