Fish & Boat Spring Meeting Scheduled for April 20-21 in Seven Springs
Harrisburg, PA - The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) will hold its spring quarterly meeting on April 20-21 at the Seven Springs Mountain Resort in Champion, Pa.

Commission committees will meet beginning at 8 a.m. on Monday, April 20, and again at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, April 21. Formal consideration of the agenda by the full Commission will begin at approximately 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21. All committee meetings and the review of the agenda are open to the public and attendance is encouraged.

Among the items on the formal agenda, the Commission will consider adding several mussel species to the endangered or threatened species lists and adding 10 new waters to the list of wild trout streams. Commissioners also will consider reducing creel limits for American Shad in the Delaware River and river estuary and for River Herring in various waterways; awarding several boating facility grants; and authorizing several property-related matters to improve public fishing and boating access.

On the Fisheries Committee agenda, staff will present to commissioners the stocked trout cost analysis.
