I got lucky yesterday and won a Remington 700 BDL 25.06 at a gun raffle at Fryburg Sportsmens. I wasn't there, but I got a call from a buddy.

I'm a lefty, so I'll probably trade it for something else or take cash. I'll find out more tomorrow.

Sweet!! Them BDL have gotten quite expensive recently.  Now the decision, cash or trade.  I have been fortunate enough to win 3 rifles over the past 5 years.  I have always taken the gun.  

Of course you being a lefty doesn't help.  

I went over to Rt 66 Sporting Goods and got a rifle. They only had 2 lefthanded rifles, a Ruger 30.06 and a Savage 300WSM. I have an .06, so that one was out. I was interested in the 300WSM, but I didn't like the action. I walked out with a 450 Marlin 1895MXLR, a nice looking gun. The shells were only $35 a box there...

That is a sweet rifle and perfect medicine for one of those blackies hanging around.
