Elk?

Got this pic of a fuzzy lil calf elk today. I wanted to get a pic of it nursing, but everytime I put the camera up it walked away, or the mom moved it.

That is one of the smallest calfs. For this time of year it should be almost double that size.

I think it was an extremely late born critter.

If you look closely at it's back hip you can still see spots.
