this critter is living at walnut creek access. some people are saying it's a weasel, others a mink, a ferret. one person claims it's an otter. lol. it doesn't have a lot of fear of humans. i got to within 3 feet while it was chowing on a dead steelhead. i think it's someone's pet that got loose. does anyone know for real?

p.s.  no i don't think it's a mountain lion!!

 I say it's a mink. I've never seen one with fur that light, all have been dark brown color. Good pictures.

As a trapper it looks like a light colored mink and it is a male mink.  Very light color but if it is in an open area like near the lake the light color would not suprise me.  Nice photos!

Probably a mink from that farm that the AR whackjobs broke into and released all the mink from a few years ago.
