Had to go out and take my bird feeders down tonight.

This bear I call "Eleven" with last years cub. I didn't see her last year, so I thought someone harvested her. Eleven was born in 2001 and was one of five cubs. In 2004 I saw her with her first two cubs. I only have seen her a few times since then. So she surprised me when I saw her coming down the valley with her one cub. It's about mating season and I'm sure she will be chasing her cub off before she comes into heat and attracts a big boar.

Take her out???? I may be a "big bore", but I don't think thats what 11 has in mind. Plus, I know someone else that might not approve. But thanks for asking.

 Eleven and her cub were making their rounds this evening. It's been a little over a week since I saw her last.

Here they are checking out my laundry.

Eleven chased her cub off and you should see her new boyfriend.
