Now I know. We went to Cedar Point this past weekend and those boxes were all along the Pa. and Oh. turnpike. I thought they were wood duck boxes. |

When I saw one near the Richardsville bridge I thought some kid had lost their box kite in a tree. There are several over on Spring Run road now too. Thanks Buff that link is very interesting and helps to clear up what they are using them for. Spinner | |||

they are all threw the woods some are purple. there were some on the allegheny at tionesta also. I thought they were either butterfly boxes or bat boxes |
