I should add that in the 20 years we have lived here the Evening Grosbeaks only showed up one year.. but it was a delight to see them.

The Rose Breasted Grosbeaks show up every year..

Prnc,
Give the rose breasted grosbeaks another month and they'll be everywhere.

Prnc,
It is a coopers. We usually have a pair that hangs around but this year there has only been one that I've seen.  Kinda neat to have it around because I live in town.

We get the rosebreasted grossbeaks here every year. They haven't showed up yet this year though. One thing I've seen a lot of this year are Pileated woodpeckers.
