WELCOME ---

Since (because of an update at the hosting site) my browser became uncompatable and I could not post on the old board anymore I have started this new board. It is not as fancy and there are fewer things I can do to make it as fancy.. BUT.. I hope you enjoy it just as much and will share the board with your outdoor friends.

Hopefully this one will be just as successful as the old one was for three years...

TIL LATER..
Doc

Thanks Penn..

Glad to see some are coming along....

I just could not see spending ALL that time (it would have taken DAYS) to re-do 7 years worth of stuff...

BTW... eye candy has come along too.. check out other places to visit...

TIL LATER..
Doc

i just cropped and resized a photo. loaded it into my photobucket. then i put the url link into the avatar address box in my profile. herons should be back in the area. if i get a good shot, i'll update it again.

i just checked on photobucket. if you upload a pic, then click on edit, then click on resize, one of the choices is for avatar size. so, you can crop a photo, upload it, then resize it, then paste the url link in your profile.

My profile section does not show the avatar..city..state.. signature..comments boxes..

I'll have to get help from Mark and his computer to get those in place..thanks prnc...

dr trout, to get your own photo as an avatar you have to upload it to a host site, i use photobucket, it's free. after uploading and resizing, copy the "http:" address. come back to the board, while logged in, click on profile at the top of the home page. then click on "edit profile". go down to avatar section. paste the address into the box in that section. then click on update.
but then again, i don't know how webtv works. if this doen't help you, maybe it will for someone else.
in the avatar section of your profile, you can select a free avatar from the site. in the same box is a link that says something like "not sure of an avatar" click on that. select a catagory and select one that you like.(i think that's where penn got his)

Hi Doc,

I just received your e-mail regarding the problems with the former web site.  But we have your new site to save the day!

See you at the next Habitat Tour.

Thanks for the cup of coffee, Doc. That's about as close as I'll ever get to one, now that Neville has gotten too big fer his fancy, gray woolen britches.

Had to stop and look again at that black lab avatar. Got one just like that here that weighs 120lbs and don't have an ounce of chub on him either. Want a matched set? The boss lady said she'd sooner have a "lap dog" that doesn't crush her knees on the way to her lap.
