Been seeing the member number creeping up and some new names on the boards.

How about a forum under other topics for new users to say hello and introduce themselves.

Good opportunity to get to know them and likewise and make them feel welcome to post away.

I have seen those welcome threads on other boards and usually I do not see the new member reply..

If you recall I had one on the old board and it was barely used....

I'd rather welcome a new person after they make there first post whereever that may be... then you KNOW they will see it when they return to see the replies to their post...
Thanks for the suggestion.. I'll keep it in mind though...
