Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself.
By my name you should be able to tell what I really like to hunt. I have been hunting for 39 years now. Started hunting in Jefferson county (by clear creek state park) at our family camp. I live in mercer county. I hunt mainly in mercer county now.
Once duck season starts you will find me somewhere around Shenango lake. If anyone enjoys duck hunting let me know, maybe we can get together and hunt.
I do a lot of fishing . I like ice fishing best. I did manage to catch a 38 lb,42 inch flathead catfish on shenago lake while drifting for walleye this year.

Don't think I won't quit my job to go hunting cause I've done it twice and will do it again!

Welcome aboard.  Wish I knew more about duck hunting.  I do know a little about ice fishing, especially around Erie.  Most weekends when the ice is safe, I am somewhere around Presque Isle looking for panfish,  dd

Thanks for the warm welcome.  Rich I might have to ask you for some advise on that Erie ice fishing. I have wanted to try there for a while but didn't know enough about the area to make it worth the trip.

I don't do much for perch, but I can usually steer you to the bluegills, and sometimes crappies.dd
