This was my second year taking kids out for this day. We hunted in Clarion county. My grandson had his limit by seventhirty. After that we used our dogs to help two ther fathers and there boys. They were done by ninethirty. We had seventeen finds by this time. Many thanks to the game commission for making this day memorable for these kids. We need to find a way to help more young hunters into the sport. This is a great way to do it

It is a great initiative by the PGC.  It always isn't about the deer.  Young ones like to hunt anything and a successful day in the pheasant fields or squirrel woods fills the bill just nice.
