Probably BETTER than harvesting a bear in my opinion.... I don't hear about to many folks "calling" in a bear to harvest it... most are shot after a BUNCH of guys push the woods forcing the bear to move. Not near as challenging as callin in a yote... | |||

Was out last evening and cut a pair of tracks from the night before. Set up on them with the rabbit squealer and had no takers. Just at dusk with the late fading fast, I tried my howler and bingo!! A challenge howl in response. Too dark to shoot now so I backed out and will give it try tonight or tommorrow. Some day it will come together for me. I want one of those critters bad. |

Nightstalker and I were sitting at my kitchen table one afternoon when I looked outside and saw this young female in my yard. I grabbed the .22, quietly opened the front door, snuck around the corner and shot it. Around 25#. ![]() Here's another one, 41# ![]() I've also have shot a few in deer seasons. I've been busted more times than not calling them in. |

Sweet!! Some day, some day. I have accomplished alot hunting in this state but a coyote is at the top of my list. |
