It was a long good day of fishing!!

I started out at the fly area on North Fork at about 11am

It was packed and almost everyone was catching trout.  I managed to catch 5 with another nice size brown trout about 15. They were all caught on various mayfly nymphs.

I headed home and did a few choirs before I headed down to the Redbank below Bilo in Brookville.  I managed to catch 7 trout thru this section.  All were really nice rainbow trout between 11 and 14 inches long.  I then headed to where all the streams meet by the little league field and caught 3 trout there and missed really nice trout not sure how big but it was much better than your average trout.

I then headed to the back to the fly area for the last half  hour before dark. I didnt catch any but I had on a really nice brown trout that I know was 20 inches. Its easy to tell when the fish jumps a for out of teh water!! It was a great 5 minute fight and the trout won.  But he is still there and i got all summer since it is catch and release.  A great day of fishing.

15 trout caught.

no visible hatches.

Fish On!!!
