Did you notice the missing flesh on the Rainbow ???

I landed a Brook trout that had the same thing ?????

I'm hoping to get out on Sunday morning.  If I do I'll probably try between Heath Station and the Belltown Bridge and see if I can't get lucky and catch one of the big ones.

The chunks of flesh that are missing - those look like heron wounds to me.  A lot of our fish down here have those on them, especially as water starts getting low and they can be found easy.

That was my quess too, even thoughtthe water was not low where I caught him, altohugh he could have been closer to shore when attacked
