This is the largest smallie I have ever caught..5 and a quarter pounds 19 inchs. She made the trip worthwhile for me...and also is still swimming there!

If anyone ever needs a guide for a float trip up there please Email me and I will shoot you out the info for the man I used.
He's been doing this for thirty years and I was very impressed with the way he handled everything. I will be back there for sure.

When you begin to question why it is you hunt and fish, you only have to look into the eyes of a child who had just seen their first deer or caught their first fish for the answer.

Taking the wife up in Sept. you cant believe how reasonable in price it was.
I have got to get one of those Boga grips...but over a buck for one is kind of high. smile/eek.gif
Glad you liked the pics.
I'm still hoping to catch a smallie in the Clarion bigger than that one and will be trying next week as much as possible.

Thanks for sharing the photos Harv...

hope for rain if you want to fish the Clarion next week.. went for a ride last evening and believe me  -- I have NEVER seen the river as low as it is right now...

several of my favorite spots hardly have water in them at all.... several places I just walk out to the middle and never got the bottoms of my shorts wet.. in fact most places the water was not half way up to my knees. ?????
